It's a pickle party. Never a pickle festival. We're the original pickle party, founded in 2019, and we helped reshape modern pickle culture
Best Maid Pickles is celebrating 100 years this year. Mildred and J.O. Dalton started it in Fort Worth in 1926, beginning with Mildred's homemade mayonnaise sold in J.O.'s grocery store. It's still owned by the Dalton family, it's one of the most popular pickle brands in Texas, and its roots are why the Texas Legislature named nearby Mansfield the Pickle Capital of Texas
Mansfield and the Pickle Queens: Mansfield, just down the road, is the official Pickle Capital of Texas, named by the Texas Legislature in 2013 thanks to its Best Maid roots.
