The Big Dill World’s Largest Pickle Party is scheduled for Saturday september 25th, 2021 at Power Plant Live! In Baltimore, Maryland.

Rain Date is the following Sunday, October 3rd

 

*Organizers will only move to the rain date when 2 or more hours of intense rain are scheduled to fall on September 25th, 2021. Such an announcement will be made on Wednesday or Thursday prior to the event being held by email and within the official Facebook event.  



WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Enter a world of pickled-themed fun where you will find every type of pickled product: fried pickles, pickle pizza, pickle egg rolls, pickle fries, pickle ice cream, and many more pickled delights. All attendees get to sample from our Giant pickle garden where pickle vendors from around the country sample and sell their pickles.

This is a full-out Brine Bash complete with LIVE bands, custom cocktails, food trucks, carnival games, mascots, outdoor games and activities, custom contests, and the Gherkin Go Play Kids Zone. Everyone from pickle fanatics to the pickle curious will be able to enjoy this giant pickle party.

 

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF PURCHASING VIP TICKETS?

VIP patrons gain access to the festival 2 hours prior to general admission attendees. VIP attendees will have wristbands, a dedicated entrance at least 2 hours into the event. You also get access to a private event space for the entire festival with exclusive balcony access overlooking the stage. A pickle breakfast and a bag of Big Dill keepsakes await all VIP ticket holders. You also receive VIP pictures with Dilly The Pickle mascot.  

 

WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE ADVANCE TICKETS TO THE FEST?

This event has sold out every year since its inception. In fact, it’s usually sold out several days before the event. VIP tickets are gone in a matter of days.

 

I CAN'T FIND MY EMAILED TICKETS, WHERE ARE THEY?

Your tickets are generally delivered shortly after purchase to the email address you provide or you can download them upon purchase. If you didn’t receive them, it may have been a typo in your email address during your purchase. If it’s been more than a few hours and you can’t find them, you can request your tickets again by emailing us at info@bigdill.com

 

I’D LIKE TO HELP OUT, WHAT CAN I DO? DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS?

We absolutely need volunteers! You can volunteer your time during either of the following shifts:

  • 9 am till noon shift
  • Noon till 3 pm shift

You will be able to attend the event for free after your shift is completed and your volunteer leader signs you out. You also receive a FREE t-shirt, water, parking, and Big Dill Layard for your efforts.

DO YOU OFFER DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKETS?

While we encourage attendees who choose to drive to arrange safe transportation, we do not offer a special ticket for Designated Drivers. Everyone who wants to attend the event, whether drinking or not, must purchase a full-priced ticket.

 

ARE CHILDREN FREE?

Kids under 2 years old are permitted in for FREE. Kids over the age of 2 must have a purchased ticket. We conveniently offer a family package that includes 2 adults and 2 kids passes. You can also add additional kids onto the Family Ticket Package or add kids onto a VIP token for a small price found attached to each of the ticket links.  

 

WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE FESTIVAL?

The following items are prohibited:

 

  • Outside food, drink, or alcoholic beverages
  • Weapons (knives, pepper spray, any concealed weapons or firearms, etc.)
  • Illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks
  • Backpacks, suitcases, coolers, or other large bags
  • Unapproved marketing material of any kind (pamphlets, handouts, advertisements)

 

GUEST SAFETY AND SECURITY

We are committed to the safety of our guests. We hire extra security and off-duty police and EMTs for the event. Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our guests.  



ARE DOGS OR OTHER PETS ALLOWED?

Sorry, no pets are allowed at Big Dill World’s Largest Pickle Party. We’re are mostly a food-driven event, and the health department won’t allow it. Plus some attendees may be scared of dogs and we need to accommodate everyone.



CAN I TRANSFER MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes. The ticket purchaser’s name doesn’t matter. Simply email the purchased ticket(s) to your friend, and they can enter our festival without an issue. Once your ticket has been scanned at entry, however, it cannot be re-scanned.



REFUND POLICY

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets and do not issue refunds once tickets are purchased. Please read carefully which ticket tier you are purchasing in advance. If you did not provide a valid email address upon checkout, it is your responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time, and venue.

Ticket holders or attendees of the event consent to being filmed, photographed and recorded as members of the audience. The resulting film footage, images, and recordings may be used to promote The Big Dill World's Largest Pickle Party in print, various forms of media, and on websites. You consent that the footage remains our property and we may use it in conjunction with the promotion of our event however we choose.

The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, laws, safety announcements, and regulations while attending the event. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behavior likely to cause damage, nuisance, or injury shall enable Big Dill World's Largest Pickle Party, its security personnel, volunteers, staff, Power Plant Live! staff, or festival organizers to eject the ticket holder from the festival site without a refund.



SHIPPING POLICY

All tickets will be delivered electronically via e-mail. It is the responsibility of the buyer to print tickets out prior to arrival at the festival and present tickets at the gate for entry. Printed tickets are preferred, and scan more easily than tickets on a mobile device. If you’ve lost your tickets or can’t find them please email us at info@bigdill.com

 

While printing is the preferred/faster method, if you choose not to print out your ticket, you can choose mobile ticket delivery or present tickets that were emailed to you. We will scan the barcode on your phone’s screen.
