Tickets are scannable for 1 day only and will only work for the day in which you purchased. All tickets are scanned.
Once a ticket is scanned or returned it will not scan again.
The Festival officially opens at noon but tickets are tiered with different access times.

WHY SHOULD I PURCHASE ADVANCE TICKETS TO THE FEST?
This event has sold out every year since its inception. In fact, it’s usually sold out several days before the event. VIP tickets are gone in a matter of days.
I CAN'T FIND MY EMAILED TICKETS, WHERE ARE THEY?
Your tickets are generally delivered shortly after purchase to the email address you provide or you can download them upon purchase. If you didn’t receive them, it may have been a typo in your email address during your purchase. If it’s been more than a few hours and you can’t find them, you can request your tickets again by emailing us at info@bigdill.com
DO YOU OFFER DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKETS?
While we encourage attendees who choose to drive to arrange safe transportation, we do not offer a special ticket for Designated Drivers. Everyone who wants to attend the event, whether drinking or not, must purchase a full-priced ticket.
ARE CHILDREN FREE?
Kids under 2 years old are permitted in for FREE.
Kids over the age of 2 must have a purchased ticket.
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE FESTIVAL?
The following items are prohibited:
- Outside food, drink, or alcoholic beverages
- Weapons (knives, pepper spray, any concealed weapons or firearms, etc.)
- Illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks
- Suitcases, chairs, strollers, coolers, backpacks, or other large bags (Diaper Bags and Purses are fine)
- Unapproved marketing material of any kind (pamphlets, handouts, advertisements)
GUEST SAFETY AND SECURITY
We are committed to the safety of our guests. We hire extra security and off-duty police and EMTs for the event. Nothing is more important than the health and well-being of our guests.
ARE DOGS OR OTHER PETS ALLOWED?
Sorry, no pets are allowed at Big Dill World’s Largest Pickle Party. We’re are mostly a food-driven event, and the health department won’t allow it. Plus some attendees may be scared of dogs and we need to accommodate everyone. ADA Service Dogs are allowed in the event. The United States Justice Department defines a service animal as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.
CAN I TRANSFER MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes. The ticket purchaser’s name doesn’t matter. Simply email the purchased ticket(s) to your friend, and they can enter our festival without an issue. Once your ticket has been scanned at entry, however, it cannot be re-scanned.
REFUND POLICY
All tickets purchased for The Big Dill World's Largest Pickle Party are final. WE REPEAT, ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. THERE SHALL BE NO TICKET REFUNDS AND/OR TICKET EXCHANGES FOR FUTURE DATES OR EVENTS. All tickets are delivered via tracked delivery email. The Big Dill is not responsible for the acts of state/city Health Boards or the CDC, including changes to their entry requirements after a sale is made.
In the event of a cancellation of this event, for reasons that include, but may not be limited to, situations outside of our control, governmental acts, acts of God, riots, hazardous conditions, strikes, natural disasters, local emergencies, health crisis, inclement weather of any type, or inaccessibility or unavailability of the Venue, we may, in our sole and absolute discretion elect to either, (a) issue you a full or partial refund, (b) postpone the Event for a future date, (c) offer you something to "make good" on your purchase, and/or (d) any combination of (a), (b), and/or (c).
At all times prior to the event, we reserve all rights to cancel or postpone the Event or to change times and dates of the event, or other event details without prior notice to the purchaser or ticket holder. Cancellation of the event may take place either prior to the start of the event or at any time while the event is taking place. Delayed venue gate openings and/or the inability to access any parts of the venue or event due to federal, state, municipal, or other code regulations, our policies, emergency and/or partial or complete event shutdown or evacuation, performance, or event delays, inclement weather, and potentially hazardous conditions for attendees, volunteers, or staff, purchaser or ticket holder shall not be entitled to any type of refund or future credit. If we elect to reschedule the event for a future date or provide any other sort of compensation, either monetary or other tangible items of value, or a combination of both, the purchaser shall not be entitled to any amount of refund or future credit. The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, laws, safety announcements, and regulations while attending the event. Breach of any of these conditions or any unacceptable behavior likely to cause damage, nuisance, or injury shall enable Big Dill World's Largest Pickle Party, its security personnel, volunteers, staff, Power Plant Live! staff, or festival organizers to eject the ticket holder from the festival site without a refund.
SHIPPING POLICY
All tickets will be delivered electronically via e-mail. It is the responsibility of the buyer to print tickets out prior to arrival at the festival and present tickets at the gate for entry. Printed tickets are preferred, and scan more easily than tickets on a mobile device. If you’ve lost your tickets or can’t find them please email us at info@bigdill.com
While printing is the preferred/faster method, if you choose not to print out your ticket, you can choose mobile ticket delivery or present tickets that were emailed to you. We will scan the barcode on your phone’s screen.

COVID RULES:
The best way to attend The World's Largest Pickle Party ® is to be vaccinated.
In accordance with the current guidelines set by the CDC, the State of Maryland,
the Maryland Department of Health and Baltimore City.
Prior to visiting you should assess your risk that any interaction with others in close proximity can increase the risk. You are responsible for yourself and those you bring. The festival cannot guarantee you will not be exposed to the coronavirus during your visit.

Rain Date Weekend - Please Read
2 Hours or more of heavy rain will cause the event to be postponed to the weekend of November 11th and 12th, 2022. All tickets will transfer to that date.
*Organizers will only move to the rain date when 2 or more hours of intense rain are scheduled to fall on September 24th, 2022. Such an announcement will be made on Wednesday or Thursday prior to the event being held by email and within the official Facebook event.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF PURCHASING VIP TICKETS?
VIP patrons gain access to the festival 2 hours prior to general admission attendees. VIP attendees will have wristbands, a dedicated entrance at least 2 hours into the event. You also get access to a private event space for the entire festival with exclusive balcony access overlooking the stage. A pickle breakfast and a bag of Big Dill keepsakes await all VIP ticket holders. You also receive VIP pictures with Dilly The Pickle mascot.

I’D LIKE TO HELP OUT, WHAT CAN I DO? DO YOU NEED VOLUNTEERS?
We absolutely need volunteers! You can volunteer your time during either of the following shifts:
- 9 am till noon shift
- Noon till 3 pm shift
You will be able to attend the event for free after your shift is completed and your volunteer leader signs you out. You also receive a FREE t-shirt, water, parking, and Big Dill Layard for your efforts.

Both. Most vendors do take Credit Cards but cash always works. We have six ATM machines on site as well.
